Michael is a postulant from the Diocese of Cuernavaca in the Anglican Church of Mexico, working toward an M.Div. at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) within the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. His research interests include material culture of religion, pilgrimage studies, and agrarian theology. He is particularly attracted to ecumenical and interreligious relationships. Michael’s current ministries include youth activities at All Souls Parish and Alameda Deanery, monthly foot care clinics at St. John the Evangelist and St. Dominic’s in San Francisco, is a member of the prison ministry group through St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in San Rafael, and is Veriditas trained in labyrinth facilitation. He is passionate about the intersection of food and faith and recently became involved in the Ale Souls Brewing Group at All Souls Parish, where he is serving as a seminarian.
